MIEC AND MARYLAND-BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA EXCHANGE (MBHEC) COUNCIL PARTNERSHIP PRESENTATIONS

We are excited to have two June meetings where colleges and universities from MIEC and from Bosnia and Herzegovina will introduce their institutions to one another and share what they are looking for in terms of partnership and collaboration. On June 4th, University of Mostar, University of Sarajevo, University of Banja Luka, and Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar presented to MIEC, and on June 11th, Goucher College, Towson University, Loyola University Maryland, and UMBC will present to the MBHEC group! We are honored to have the Maryland Secretary of State, Susan C. Lee, share remarks at the June 11th meeting expressing support for this collaboration. ANNUAL REVIEW MEETING

We will hold an annual review meeting in August to celebrate our events and achievements over the past year, share plans for the upcoming year, and invite new members to join. We are looking at August 1st as a potential date, and hoping to be able to meet in person at Loyola - we will share the date and location by email when finalized.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FAIRS

Our Study Maryland Recruitment Committee is already thinking about the Fall 2025 term and planning for two in-person colleges fairs for international students already here in Maryland, and for a virtual fair to reach students abroad. We anticipate these events will take place in mid-September, and confirmed dates will be announced as plans develop.
