Maryland International Education Day
On April 26, 2023, Governor Wes Moore proclaimed Maryland International Education Day. To commemorate the day, MIEC convened an expert panel to discuss refugees and Maryland higher education.
The Maryland International Education Consortium (MIEC)
MIEC is a non-profit organization of institutions of higher education dedicated to promoting international education in the state of Maryland. MIEC serves as the premier resource center for the internationalization of MIEC members, offering support for professional development, state global education advocacy, student recruitment, international student and scholars services and the development of globally competent students and workforce through education abroad.
Study Maryland
Study Maryland is the international recruitment arm of MIEC which focuses on enhancing the branding and reputation of the State of Maryland as the preferred education for international students. The MIEC Board will review and approve initiatives under Study Maryland and devote resources to develop the branding of Study Maryland within MIEC.
