Institutional Membership

Institutions of higher education in Maryland can apply to be full members of the organization. Annual dues are currently $1,000. Benefits include

• One primary voting representative and one alternate voting representative

• Inclusion in all MIEC business meetings and events throughout the year

• Access to our Study Maryland Recruitment Committee, ISSS Committee, Education Abroad Committee, and Events Committee

• Institutional inclusion on the MIEC and studymaryland.org websites

• Professional Development Opportunities

• Invitation to our 8th Annual Maryland International Education Day in April 2026

• Institutional representation in the Expo Hall at NAFSA Annual Conference 2026

• Opportunities for leadership through executive board or committee roles

• Collaborative advocacy efforts at the state and national level

• A wonderful network of international education colleagues!

Associate Membership

Associate MIEC affiliation is open to organizations, both for-profit and non-profit, that support the mission of MIEC and international education. Annual associate dues are $500. Benefits include:

• Listing and link on MIEC webpage.

• Full non-voting participation in regular MIEC meetings throughout the year.

• Inclusion on MIEC mailing list and regular updates on consortium activities.

• Opportunity to make one (1) presentation to MIEC membership at a regular MIEC meeting annually.

• Opportunity to sponsor MIEC events and activities at additional cost.
