Education and Training Are Essential for a Great Job

Medical device industry jobs that offer career advancement opportunities are available to workers who understand regulatory issues, job-related technical subjects, and problem-solving methods for addressing workplace technical challenges.  Workers with these skills and knowledge also often need to know how to work effectively in teams.

MDIEC colleges are currently offering introductory and advanced regulatory affairs for both existing and prospective workers.  Individual MDIEC colleges also offer a broad range of specialized courses for medical device technicians.  The MDIEC colleges are located in seven states that have high levels of medical device employment.  To find out more about these colleges click here.

During 2006, the MDIEC colleges and the industry will begin the design phase for developing new courses in the following three areas:  (1) quality assurance / quality control, (2) medical device document/information management, (3) clinical data management.  More information will be provided on this web site as the design process moves forward.
